About the event

A creative weekend, with music, poetry and scripture. There will be an art space and opportunities to write. As well as our sessions together, you will be offered room to listen to God in times of quiet. The title comes from a beautiful song by Karine Polwart.

Andrew Rudd loves to find wonder in the ordinary. In this he is helped particularly by poetry, music, nature and two wonderful grandchildren. He lives in Frodsham, Cheshire, and is a Reader at St Laurence Church. Andrew is a poet and spiritual companion. He is the author of The Quiet Path: contemplative practices for daily life (2024) and The Listening Path: Living Attentively (forthcoming, 2026)

 

Wendy Rudd is interested in how we can glimpse God in the ordinary: nature, creativity, art, or encounter with others. Often in unexpected places. She has…
