Booking Terms and Conditions
Deposits
An initial deposit is required within 14 days to confirm your booking.
Unfortunately, deposits cannot be refunded or transferred.
For group residential stays: £100 per night
For individual residential stays: £50
Day groups of up to 15 people: £50
Day groups of more than 15 people: £100
Payment of Balance
Full payment is due seven days before the commencement of the stay/conference and can be paid by cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
Final Numbers
To help us prepare well for your stay, please send final numbers, room lists, programme details, and dietary requirements at least two weeks before your event. We may not be able to meet needs submitted after this point. For late bookings, please phone the office.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
Sadly, we must charge for cancelled bookings, both partial and full.
We advise guests to take out appropriate insurance to cover their stay in the event of cancellation or curtailment.
Residential Cancellation
More than 9 months notice: initial deposit forfeited
6 – 9 months notice: 20% of the total cost
4 – 6 months notice: 50% of the total cost
2 weeks to four months notice: 75% of the total cost
Less than 2 weeks notice: 95% of the total cost
Day Cancellation
1 – 3 months notice: 50% of the total cost
Less than 1 month’s notice: 75% of the total cost
Private Guest
Less than 1 month notice: 75% of the total cost
Additional Information
Electric Items
You’re welcome to bring small, undamaged electrical items for personal use. High‑load or non‑standard devices can’t be used on site, but staff can advise if you’re unsure.
EV Charging
We’re not currently equipped for electric‑vehicle charging, but we’re happy to direct you to nearby public charging stations.
Smoking Policy
Foxhill is a non‑smoking House. A designated outdoor smoking area is available; please ask a member of staff for directions.
