Praying with my pen

Personal prayer is most often conceived of in terms of sound or its absence, from spoken word to silence. But what happens when we bring our prayer life to the page? Can writing and praying work together, so that the written word deepens our encounter with the living word?

In this day retreat, we will explore ways of weaving our writing and praying together as we discover how these processes interconnect.

No previous writing experience is necessary. Just come with pen, paper and writing materials, and a willingness to venture along fresh pathways of prayer.
