About the event
This retreat day will focus on the theme of our identity in Christ: how music, in particular singing, can help us to grow more fully into our God-given identities. We will discuss the theology of gifts, reflect on self-esteem and group theories and have fun singing some hymns, spiritual songs and anthems together. This retreat day will be practical, participative, theological and worshipful and will include silence and discussion.
No singing experience is needed. Everyone is warmly welcome.
Arrivals and refreshments from 9.30am
First session begins at 10.00am
Catherine came to faith after being frog-marched into a church choir rehearsal. 'After initially just joining in the singing bits, I was then gradually loved by the community into a relationship with God.
