About the event
We live between two Advents - between Christ’s first coming in humility and his promised return in glory. In this in-between time, we are not left waiting passively.
Using readings taken from the breadth of scripture, through this retreat we will reflect together on how to live the traditional Advent themes of Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love. These are not just sentiments on a Christmas Card, but the very shape of Jesus’ life in the Gospels and our calling as his followers.
Hope that dares to trust in the dark.
Joy that sings even in sorrow.
Peace that stills the storm.
