About the event
Advent is a season of waiting and preparation - a time to ready our hearts to welcome Jesus anew.
During this retreat, we will journey together through the themes of love, joy, hope, and peace, drawing inspiration from those who longed for the first Christmas. Through their stories and the scriptures they cherished, we’ll explore what it means to wait with faith and expectation.
This retreat won’t be entirely silent, but there will be plenty of space for silence - especially for those who (like Lucy) find that helpful. There will be music, poetry and pictures to help us engage with different passages from the bible.
Most of all, we’ll share the joy of this season together - preparing our hearts with wonder and anticipation for the coming of Christ.
