Time seems to pass faster each year, sweeping us along without a pause.
These retreat days invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God’s story woven through the seasons.
Stan writes,
‘Advent is when, historically, the church focusses on the Second Coming of Jesus and all things eternal. The great encouragement of Advent is that it reminds us that this life, with all its troubles, is not all there is. There is far more to come and it will be glorious.
As we spend this time together, my hope is that we’ll help each other to catch even a glimpse of that truth and reflect on what it means for our daily lives.'
