Do you feel in need of breathing space?

An Individually Guided Retreat gives each person time to relax and to explore the newness of life with God. Much of the retreat will be in silence – but don’t panic! You will have a prayer-guide to accompany you.

We will meet together on Monday evening but after that you will have space to slow down and to make your own prayer-journey. Each person will have a prayer-guide to accompany them.  You will meet with your guide for about half an hour each day and they will offer suggestions for your time on your retreat.

Apart from these conversations, we will be in silence on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you’re not used to silence, you’ll find it’s a wonderful gift, giving a chance for you to rest and allow God to be at work.

The programme will include worship together in the chapel and the meeting- rooms at Foxhill will be transformed to provide places for being quiet and for being creative.

If you’ve never been on this kind of retreat, be bold and give it a try! If you have experienced an IGR you’ll know that wonderful things can happen when you simply make space for God.
