How do we keep our faith fresh during the working week?

24th February - 9.30am - 4.00pm

What can we learn from the example of Jesus who says "Walk with me - watch how I do it. Learn  the unforced rhythms of grace".

We will explore what we can learn from Community of St Chad's rhythms of grace, other Mystics and Saints and tailor them for personal support as rule for our working week.

This day will offer a time to reflect, refresh  and share our stories of our Christian faith and how it supports us and our colleagues in the midst of busy working lives.

Delegates will receive the St Chads daily life book.

Pre-study of Matthew 11:28-30 Message version: Eugene Petersons SOLO reflection on this passage would be helpful.

How does our journey of discipleship find expression in the world of work?

22nd September - 9.30am - 4.00pm

As Autumn sets in and we begin to think about  winter we will use Rowan Williams book Being Disciples to review and refresh our faith together.

We are often the only Christians people at work may know, yet for most of us we give our best at work and then more in our church lives. Who is discipling, encouraging and renewing us?

This day will be a mix of studying core truths as set out by Rowan, walking and listening to God in nature and taking away a faith uplift to help "be" the Christian presence at work.

It will be useful for delegates to bring the Rowan Williams book Being Disciples, the essentials of the Christian life.
